Are you streaming ( or binge watching ) any series on Netflix, or any other service? Tell us about it.

We are currently watching Under The Bridge on Hulu. It is based on a true story about an Indian girl in Victoria, BC who is bullied and turns to a group of bad teenagers who end up murdering her. The evil teenagers are so believable that one of their adult co-stars (Lily Gladstone from Killers of the Flower Moon) said she was afraid of them on set. It is disturbing but interesting and well-acted.

We watched all episodes of Stranger Things on Netflix and can't wait until the final season airs next year.
I have been watching Under the Bridge also and man, those are some meannn girls!
Meaner than the girls I remember in high school.

One more episode to go for me..

Watched a couple episodes of Fallout but couldn't get into it. Too wacky even for me...haha. Couldn't get into Monk, either. He made me "bonkers"!

I find more to watch on Netflix then I do on Prime. So many of Prime's movies are an additional price. I'm already paying $140/year for a membership, why should I pay extra for a movie???

I use to have Disney+ but after I watched all the movies I was interested in from there, I canceled my subscription. I mostly watch Tubi and Netflix and just recently I got the trial offer from Hallmark. I don't have TV channels so I have to stream Hallmark.

Series??? Can't seem to find anything that holds my interest :(

Fallout is certainly not for everyone It can be very dark at times, even in a comical way.

I do not know what type of shows you enjoy but one show I always recommend to most is The Queen's Gambit. It can get dark but it's very well done. No knowledge of chess is needed to enjoy it.

"

The Queen's Gambit is a fictional Netflix miniseries based on Walter Tevis's 1983 novel of the same name, but it does include real-life elements. The series is about the rise of Beth Harmon, a chess prodigy and orphan played by Anya Taylor-Joy, and is inspired by real-life chess legends and games. For example, Beth's final match against Russian champion Vasily Borgov is based on the 1993 Interzonal Tournament in Biel, Switzerland, and her Kentucky state title match is similar to a 1955 matchup in Riga, Latvia. The series also consulted with former World Champion Garry Kasparov to ensure the chess was as realistic as possible."

A few years back at the urging of my son I watched and enjoyed the following. Band of Brothers, Hell on Wheels & Breaking Bad. Watched 'The Pacific' last month, also enjoyed it somewhat, Band of Brothers was better.

@MarkinPhx - The Queen's Gambit was a decent series but also enjoyed the movie 'In Search of Bobby Fischer' as much.

"I watch so many British shows I've picked up the slang and drive my chair on the wrong side of the halls."
Now that's funny! With apologies to all our UK, Australian, New Zealand,,,etc. members

"Into The Night" on Netflix gives an interesting view of European "unity." Science fiction but those elements are small. More of a study of a small group of people under stress in close quarters.

Don't worry, it's been dubbed with better dialogue than the awkward captioning.

Out of those I've only watched Breaking Bad. I watched the entire series about 6 or 7 times. I don't know if I could watch it again 😄

I finished watching The Asunta Case on Netflix this morning. I liked it very much at the beginning but then I thought that it wasn't written as well as it could have been and the acting was okay but not great. So I will give it a B. I enjoyed it somewhat.

I finished the Curious Caterer series on the Hallmark Channel. There were 3 movies. I wish there were more. I enjoyed them.

Someone on Reddit suggested I try the Mystery 101 series next. Even my AI chatbot recommended that so I might check it out.

Evil is a supernatural drama series available on Netflix which pairs a forensic psychologist with a Catholic Church “assessor” in the investigation of paranormal events such as possessions and miracles. If you are into intelligently written and disturbing horror, this series might be a good ticket for you. In some ways, the series is reminiscent of The X-Files, with the psychologist playing the skeptic role, and the priest-in-training the true believer.

As the psychologist is haunted in her dreams by her own personal demon which resembles a flayed corpse, she gradually becomes more of a believer herself as she attempts to protect her children from the demonic. This is horrific but creative stuff, full of surprises and even a few notes of leavening humor. This series is great nightmare fuel, capable of getting under your skin with a mixture of elements! 🙀

Same here except the girls I remember from high school were just as mean or even meaner. I think the acting in it is really good; those young gals are really good actors.

Been watching 'WhiteCollar' on NetFlix. New story each episode. Mental relief after 'You' - cleaner crime stories with a little humor. Serialized version of 'Catch Me if You Can'.

I enjoyed this series, too. I don't normally like chic flix but I've been so bored with Netflix and Prime (probably because my late husband and I watched so many of their movies already) that I wanted something less violent. I also like Aurora Teagarden movies. I just signed up with Hallmark for a trial and I'll see if I want to keep it.

We're watching 'The Middle'. I didn't think I'd like it but I do! I especially like that there's no annoying laugh track.
There have been shows I stopped watching because they apparently thought I was a dolt who needed to be told when it was funny. 🙄
It's on Prime Video.

I’m currently watching “Juliet Bravo”, police procedural from the early 80’s. Good acting and not necessarily a murder in every episode

is it the photography or was England just a drabber place in the 80’s? Some dreary scenery
