Are you streaming ( or binge watching ) any series on Netflix, or any other service? Tell us about it.

I really disliked Season 3. My favorite was S2. Not sure if I will watch another season, should they do one. I think it's run its course.
I didn't care for Season 3, either, and it does indeed seem to have run its course. I did love the first two seasons.

I'll tune in when Season 4 is released, but I'm not exactly holding my breath with anticipation.

Jennifer Coolidge MADE Season 2! Also, the Italian Hotel Manager who called her Peppa Pig when she was dressed in pink. :ROFLMAO:

I have two more weeks of free Apple TV. There really doesn’t seem to be much to watch. Not much on Prime either.

Probably will go back to NF. I’m in the mood for something light.

Mobland (2015) is basically just another family mob picture. Nothing particularly special in the story line. The interesting part is the existence of the main mob family's "fixer", played very well by Tom Hardy. It's also a great pairing of Pierce Brosnan as the mob boss, and the incomparable Helen Mirren as his wife. Directed by Guy Ritchie. It's a little gratuitously bloody to my taste, but-- in for a penny in for a pound. Paramount+. 10 weekly episodes.

Looking forward to Season 2 of ANDOR on Disney plus - starting on Tuesday. If it's half as good as Seasone 1 it'll be good!

Finished the one season ( 😥) of "Newton's Law" on Amazon Prime and moved onto Halifax F.P., which is set in mid 90's... Eeeekkk the fashions are *so* jarring! All those looooonnnnngggg lines in coats and jackets. Sometimes it distracts from the story but I'll keep trying.

Anyone watching, or have watched, Ludwig (2024)? It's a fresh, clever, humorous and cute detective dramedy set around the Cambridge, England police department.

Starring David Mitchell and Anne Maxwell Martin, it's an offbeat story of a twin who is a genius puzzle solver masquerades as his DCI brother after the brother disappears in order to solve the mystery.

There is a clever and alluring music score all based up the music of Beethoven. Even the title credits are fascinating. I've only seen the first two eps, but I'm hooked. Glad there will be a 2nd season.

Available on BBC One in the U.K., and Amazon Prime Brit Box in the States.

I watched Journey To the Center of the Earth, a two part mini series from 1999. It starred Treat Williams and I must say it was a treat seeing Treat. Made me sad though, to know he is gone. If he wasn't in it, I may not have watched it. The only other actor I was familiar with was Bryan Brown. It had an element of romance as well as adventure. It's nice to be able to watch a show without hearing so many F-bombs.

I;m finding out that this streaming is kinda ironic to me, as I gave up watching the big 3 tv stations some years back, got
tired of the same old plot every show had....now I'm seeing a
whole lot of those shows listed in streaming, guess I'm too
damn old to expect very much new stuff.....but it is okay.....

I just watched UnBroken on Netflix. It's a documentary about seven Jewish siblings who made it through WWII together with the kindness of (Christian) strangers. One of the seven made the documentary. Their courage and the courage of those who helped them is beyond description.

It's a very timely reminder, especially in America in this day and age.

Watch it. Definitely watch it.

I don't know where I came across this series (maybe here), but rather than pay for it through a streaming source, I borrowed the first season from my public library. Liked it so well that I put a hold on the second season.
"A Place to Call Home" - an Aussie series that takes place in the early 1950s.

Fortunately, my library has all six seasons on DVD.

Started watching a BritBox production called 'Shetland' by Ann Cleeves, 4-5 years ago, then only had 4 seasons. Now 9, the characters have all changed but it was a good crime series. Because of my age & memory, I stated back again watching from season 1 finally made it to season 5, so it's all new. But I can't tell. I like the British crime series. Seems like women are always the victims, they sure have a rough time of it.

I just found that it's available on AcornTV, which at $7.99/month is a relative bargain. I may look into that in the future, but since I can get these DVDs free from the library, there's no immediate need.
Another good series on AcornTV is 'The Brokenwood Mysteries' filmed in New Zealand, I watched all the episodes. I was hoping for more. I'm kinda locked into those S Pacific filmed series.

Also available free on Hoopla! I just checked. I visited NZ in 1994. Beautiful place. Thanks for the recommendation!
