Contrary to the negative opinions about Leanne, I’m thoroughly enjoying it. It has a good support cast. It’s nice to watch something light.

Agree about the support cast. The reason i gave it a try was Kristen Johnston (of 3rd Rock from the Sun and The Exes) and Ryan Stiles (The Drew Cary Show and Who's Line Is It?). While not all the humor is to my taste those two and the actors playing the parents of Leanne and Carol are worth giving it a chance (4 episodes in now).

Some shows, especially comedies, can take a while to find their 'rhythm', to where every episode satisfies. I'm a fan of the Wayans family but so far have only been able to an episode or two at a time of their new one (on Paramount) Poppa's House. First Episode or two of The Neighborhood (with Cedric The Entertainer) didn't grab me but ended up catching up with all 7 seasons over this past winter.

I loved Crash Landing on You. It was a love story set in North Korea. I watched the series numerous times. It has subtitles and a lot of people can't tolerate it.

Death Valley (2005), 6 episodes

This is one of the freshest and most entertaining series I've seen in awhile.

In my memory it's the only series set in Wales that I've seen. An eccentric retired TV sleuth teams up with a slightly wacky but aggressive Detective Sargent who as a duo, solve complex crimes.

The legendary Timothy Spall and also Gwyneth Keyworth star in this unique series with clever dialogue and plenty of giggles. I've only seen the first 2 eps, but I'm anxious to see the others.

In the UK it's on BBC One, while in the States it's on either Britbox or AppleTV.

I thought it started to pick up steam when Carol convinced Leanne to go out to find a man and Leanne was trying on various outfits with "thumbs downs". I actually laughed out loud at that one.

I stopped watching Luther on Episode 2 of the 2d season: that cringe-worthy Alice Morgan was still in it, and the chief plot revolved around a creepy killer in a childish mask. Not even the wonderful Idris could hold me anymore.

I've been waiting for over 2 years for the second season of Blue Eye Samurai, the most artful, beautiful anime series ever, and a very interesting, compelling story, too, whether you're into anime or not. I'm not, actually, but I loved the first series.

Purportedly, season 2 will air on Netflix *sometime* in 2026. Worth waiting for.

Just started watching Three Little Birds on MAX. It's about 3 beautiful women going to England from Jamaica. They're so kind yet their entering an extremely prejudice town. So far they're making it through okay as they're strong. If I remember, I'll let you know how it went at the end. No spoilers allowed on this end.

I'm happy to have found that Amazon Prime is streaming all seasons of Departure, starring Archie Panjabi. I really like her for some reason. Peacock carried the first two seasons but not the third. I've been somewhat binge watching S3. Unfortunately there's only 6 episodes in each season and it was not renewed for a 4th season. Each season deals with a solving what's behind different tragic accidents involving mass transportation.

(NF) The second season of Wednesday is out now. Watched the first episode of 4 and realized I‘d have to wait for the rest. I prefer to watch all or nothing. Decided on nothing. The first season was unique because it brought back memories from the TV show. Will skip the rest.

I tried watching one of the Aurora Teagarden mysteries (on Amazon; A Hallmark Mystery). Not my cuppa tea; I can't stand 'chirpy,' wide-eyed sleuths... It's back to prickly/sarcastic-but-lovable Vera or Inspector Lewis for me...

Watching two Australian series right now on NF.

The first is The Survivors and it’s set on Tasmania. Pretty scenery. The show needs to speed up a bit. I recognize two of the actors from Rake.

The second is Fisk. The third season has just come out. A light comedy.

@Bretrick @Warrigal @Wombat. Have any of you watched these shows.

Watched the first episode. My take is that the best thing about the show is the beautiful Tasmanian scenery, especially the coastline..😊. The story seems weak and contrived, but it might get better.

Wow! I think that Damien Garvey must be in every Australian production ever made!..:) He's a great character actor, and he sure gets a lot of work.

He sure is. Actually, I feel most of them are better than the average actor.

The series is only six episodes so I don’t feel I’m wasting time. Not the best, yet better than many shows I watched.

I'm currently watching America's Team :The Gambler and His Cowboys on Netflix. It is a documentary about the 90's Cowboys on Netflix so it is a niche type of show. But those who hate or love the Dallas Cowboys probably will enjoy it. The only thing new that I have learned is just how deep the resentments were between Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones. But I can understand anyone having a resentment towards Jerry Jones.

What I'm enjoying most is when clips are shown with Summerall/Madden being heard broadcasting the games. Those voices instantly take me back to that time. What shocks me the most is how the clips look so dated now, even though they are only over thirty years ago. It reminds me of when I was a kid and watched clips of old college football games from the 30's.
