Are you streaming ( or binge watching ) any series on Netflix, or any other service? Tell us about it.

Just finished S1 of something called American Rust. Very dark and depressing. Thought we were done with it but the series finale was a semi-cliffhanger.

Watched first episode of No One Wants This, thought it was very funny. Struck a chord as my Irish son married a nice Jewish girl.

We've watched at least 4 Harlan Coben shows on Netflix and gave up on him for a while because there are so many characters and, especially in some of the countries like Poland, the names were hard to recognize. However, we are now watching The Innocent, based in Barcelona, and it is like no other Harlan Coben series.

If you don't like violence, this is not the show for you, but it is good. FYI it is dubbed in English.

The Sopranos, I would definitely like to re-binge.
My husband has watched this repeatedly and was distressed this summer when it came off of whichever streaming service it was on. I bought him the complete series on DVD. Brand new, factory sealed: $24.95 on eBay. DH was thrilled. (He watches it on his computer.)

I just found a DVD set of S1-6 of The Sopranos on ebay for $29.99, which is a really good deal. Sometime ago I bought the entire Nurse Jackie series, which I copied into my digital library. I should sell the set of DVDs, as I'll never used them again.
Edit: the seller emailed me an offer that I can't refuse- $20 shipped.

I watched every episode of Nurse Jackie. Great show! Glad you sold your DVDs and someone else will now get to enjoy it.

I just finished the first episode of a show called Durham County. It is streaming on Howdy. It is a Canadian show that premiered in 2007 and lasted three seasons.
Plot synopsis from IMDb:

"It's just delusional to think there's a place out there that doesn't experience crime. After his partner is killed, homicide cop Mike Sweeney uproots his family and moves from Toronto to suburban Durham County. He thinks it's safer there, not realizing major crimes have just been committed and he's about to get caught up in them."

I did enjoy the first episode. It is dark in tone and very atmospheric. I have a feeling the show will get a lot darker.

Please keep us posted. I'm ok with dark but not very dark.

I will. On my scale of darkness Hannibal is probably the darkest show that I have watched. I still don't know how it ended up airing on network TV. Nurse Jackie would be up there also. On the flip side, although there were several dark episodes on The Sopranos, I don't consider it a "dark" type of show. I probably laugh more watching that show than I do cringe.
