Arthritis pain

Has anyone considered or perhaps tried stem cell therapy for it ?

I have done prolotherapy [glucosamine & hyaluronic acid , and cortisone...no help :(

Yes it is costly, not covered under most health care providers, and to some folks controversial for several reasons . But it does seem to be gaining acceptance in main stream medicine...

Just so tired of the pain, & the meds [NSAIDS ] and [they] seem to be loosing their effect anyway. Not overjoyed about multiple joint surgeries either.

Just wondering, Thanks.

Cut out the gluten. Seriously. And no red meat. I eat ground turkey, chicken, pork chops. No more hamburger meat, bacon, steaks. Turkey bacon solves my bacon cravings. No soda pops either. But the main thing to do is knock off the gluten.

This lady has some great advice:

For a period of time I did cut out [most] gluten...no help noticed. And frankly after trying it, that is not a diet i care to follow. As such...continuing to search alternatives.

Regarding stem-cell...I guess I'll be the guinea pig :D. I have a treatment scheduled just after the first of the year. Obviously I have arthritis , and IMO I have a fairly severe dose of it. Matter of fact not just my opinion I have been told that i do.

The standard medications really aren't helping much, and the long term use dangers are ever-present, and [again opinion] sound possibly very dangerous and also sound like something I'd rather avoid if possible.

The idea of replacing , both hips, both knees, & having one shoulder surgery doesn't sound inviting either. True,...I could just endure the pain till i croak , but...now with about three years experience doing so....I gotta try for something better.

So...it's scheduled, I'll have it and will report my results.
