As a senior what do you not want any longer

Made me chuckle a bit, holly. Our 4 kids are 63, 61, 60, and 58. If nothing else proves your point, I guess this does.

We live in an active senior community, but our kids who are late 50s are not interested. They do come and check on us even though we live at the furthest corner of the country. They did grow up in this area.

The boomers who move into our community are a perfect illustration of the generation gap.

My circle of friends are also getting up in years, and that scares me..

Mine are dying off. I lost my oldest friend in the world last year and it was very hard. I still sometimes think "I must call and tell him about this" and then remember he's gone. We were close friends for a VERY long time (50+years).

Yeah, I, too, chucked my heels a long time ago. It's strange. I really don't need to buy anything. And it works out, I don't have any money to pay for anything. Nobody has called me an old geezer, or anything. I like young people, they pay my Social Security. So,, I guess I don't want hassles. I just don't have the energy to get all bent out of shape anymore. But, with a little encouragement...............
