As a senior what do you not want any longer

hollydolly stated; "- - - - however my point in saying it was that there's quite an age difference between the younger seniors on here (me and those a few years younger ) and the older ones in their late 80's and early 90's.. that's a whole generation gap so views might be very different ..."

Made me chuckle a bit, holly. Our 4 kids are 63, 61, 60, and 58. If nothing else proves your point, I guess this does.

We live in an active senior community, but our kids who are late 50s are not interested. They do come and check on us even though we live at the furthest corner of the country. They did grow up in this area.

The boomers who move into our community are a perfect illustration of the generation gap.

Yeah, I, too, chucked my heels a long time ago. It's strange. I really don't need to buy anything. And it works out, I don't have any money to pay for anything. Nobody has called me an old geezer, or anything. I like young people, they pay my Social Security. So,, I guess I don't want hassles. I just don't have the energy to get all bent out of shape anymore. But, with a little encouragement...............
