I think most kids by the age of 8 to 10 are just beginning to think about what they might want to be when they grow up. Sometimes it was a struggle. At age 8 I was torn between being a cowboy, (yes I now know the problems with that idea), a teacher, or an old maid librarian.
Well of course I became none off those ideas.
What were your aspirations as a child.

A veterinarian, later an industrial chemist. Fate made me a teacher and I think fate knew what it was doing.

A nun. For a long time, believe it or not. Then a veterinarian, but seeing hurt animals hurt my heart too much. Then I thought I would join the militarty but never did. Frankly, I thought I would be dead by 50. I am almost 12 years late.

I wanted to be a famous opera singer like Annamaria Alberghetti~!
And I also dreamt of leading expeditions in jungles seeing wild animals...
AND...a dreamt about riding with Zorro! (see how practical that is?)
But I became a music teacher and loved every bit of it.
