Asylum seeker Crashes into crowd in Munich Germany

JD Vance addressed this, among other things, in a speech in Munich recently. I shall say no more lest I get political, but I agreed with him.

I think there is a far-right movement in Germany and maybe one or two other European countries. I know that the UK has the Reform party and Nigel Farage.

These parties and their leaders are not suitable to govern the countries they are in. They are far too extreme.

But this is what happens if these attacks against ordinary citizens are ignored or played down. People's views become more extreme and then we have far-right parties becoming more prominent.

These situations should have been dealt with appropriately at the time they happened and the people involved deported. I can't think of any other suitable option.

That is exactly what many other countries would do. But in the West we just seem to allow it to continue.

The way this is now being played by Musk and others, I can't see this ending well.

I don't want to get into politics, but please do not associate Nigels farage with a German far right government

Agreed.
You have to wonder why all the rubber dinghies that are arriving every day on our shores are filled with young men, where are their families? If they are “ escaping war zones in fear of their lives” have they left them to suffer?.?
Old newsreels of people fleeing in WWII show families, carrying whatever they can rescue of their lives.
And they are not “ living in poverty” but put up at taxpayers expense in four & five star hotels which have been emptied for them, all food & keep, new mobile phones given plus some pocket money, free wifi & health care when locals can’t get a doctor’s appointment.
The two hotels outside our nearest village were requisitioned. A local young couple who were booked to hold their wedding reception there on one Saturday were told on the preceding Tuesday that it had been cancelled as illegal immigrants were to move in that weekend. Just four days notice!
You can’t blame people for becoming angry.

yes exactly all of the above.. and last month I took a taxi, and the driver who was Romanian, was really angry about this situation. He said to me, it may sound strange coming from a Romanian, but he was sick and tired of Migrants and that they were ruining this country.

He'd worked every day since he arrived 9 years ago.. and he's watched in the last few years as good hotels are paid millions to keep these migrants housed ... and then govt pays for his cab and others like his, to take them to wherever they want to go...for free

I was astonished , but he said it was true... that they all get free cab rides

he was particularly annoyed because he had worked really hard to reach the amount of earnings that the govt said he had to obtain so he could apply to bring his wife here who is a Qualified Midwife...

He'd worked double shifts, and exceded the annual amount required, and then he applied for his wife to come here, and they were turned down..

yet these thousands of migrants, don't work, and are housed in hotels at the tax payers £££

he just wants to go back to Romania now
