...and even more killings .....

A gunman is reportedly on the run after opening fire in a bar and allegedly shooting at least seven dead in Montenegro, including two children.

Several people were killed in a shooting today in Bajice, Cetinje, police and local media said.

Police dispatched special troops to search for the armed shooter in the city, 18 miles northwest of the capital Podgorica.

A statement said the man opened fire in a bar and fled the scene, warning civilians he is 'armed and dangerous'.

Police said the suspect is 45-years-old, and local media reported his name as Aco Martinovic.

Montenegro's Interior said 'a number of people were killed,' including the bar owner, his family members, as well as relatives of the shooter - but did not give a definitive death toll.

The state RTCG television said seven people were killed.

It reported that the suspect was in 'conflict' with another person at the bar and went home to get a gun before returning and killing several people.

RTCG claimed he went on to a second location and killed the bar owner's children, along with a woman.

Police appealed for the residents to remain calm and stay indoors, ruling out a clash between criminal gangs.

Montenegro's Interior Minister Danilo Saranovic said 'a number of people were killed,' including the bar owner and his family members, as well as the shooter's relatives - but did not give a definitive death toll.

President Jakov Milatovic said he was 'shocked and stunned' by the tragedy. 'Instead of holiday joy ... we have been gripped by sadness over the loss of innocent lives,' Milatovic said on the social media platform X.

Prime Minister Milojko Spajic went to the hospital where the wounded were being treated and announced three days of mourning, without specifying how many were killed.

'This is a terrible tragedy that has affected us all,' said Spajic. 'All police teams are out.'

Now they're saying the Tesla cybertruck explosion at Trump Tower Las Vegas this morning is being investigated as an act of terror.

Two major US tourism cities, two electric trucks and explosives within hours of each other??? Maybe it's a coincidence.... At least only the Vegas driver was killed. Seven people were wounded but none seriously.

MSN

An official briefed on the probe told ABC News that the Tesla Cybertruck had a load of fireworks-style mortars onboard. Investigators are urgently working to determine a motive and whether the driver intended to set off an explosion and why.
Until a motive is determined and other possibilities are ruled out, police are treating the explosion like a possible criminal act and a possible act of terror. Evidence collection and investigation are ongoing. ...An official briefed on the investigation told ABC News “this was not a lithium battery” blast, as some have speculated online.

Lithium battery crossed my mind at first, but doesn't the vehicle have to be exposed to salt water? So, I discounted it.

I think they can explode due to other reasons. Tesla has had some battery fires and also I've read about a good many EV bikes catching fire while charging. RV forums I'm on caution against charging bikes inside RVs because of this.

Officials are saying the lithium battery was not the cause at the Trump Hotel. I saw the clip of that explosion. The driver stopped right at the front door and detonated it somehow, then a lot of firework type explosions followed. That's what the officials are referring to as "firework-style morters." The driver definitely intended to hurt people but thankfully there were only seven with minor injuries.

yes..he was an Isis terrorist

The man who drove a truck into a crowd of New Year's revelers in New Orleans' French Quarter, killing 15, has been identified as 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar, a US citizen.

The Ford electric vehicle was owned by another 42-year-old man from Houston, Texas. The truck had reportedly been rented out on Turo, and police are in contact with the owner who listed it for rent.

The gunman was killed by police after he slammed a truck into pedestrians celebrating the New Year, exited the vehicle, and started firing.

The vehicle was reportedly carrying an ISIS flag and a chest with explosives inside it.

Authorities investigating the 'mass casualty incident' say the driver showed 'very intentional behavior' after driving into crowds in the city's French Quarter before they got out and fired a weapon.

Thanks for that.

I just can't watch the news hardly anymore. Stuff like this or similar all the time. I've been turning it off and trying to watch things less upsetting. Don't get me wrong, I feel for all of them, it's horrible and devastating to all those people and their families! I just can't take much more of watching it.

Think it may be terrorism. X service man driver?

Terrible, but not completely unexpected. Aid and comfort is enablement.

How the Left Fell in Love With Militant Islam - EMET | Endowment for Middle East Truth Iran JCPOA Robert Malley

Dig down and you’ll see Islamists and radical leftists have a lot more in common than meets the eye.
Prominent leftist scholars like Noam Chomsky and Judith Butler have expressed support for such terrorist groups as Hamas and Hezbollah and have described them as part of the international and progressive left.
If you remove the Islamic imagery from Islamist extremism, you’ll find a world outlook based on a Marxist world view—a power struggle between the exploiters and exploited that demands a revolution to set things straight. This world view fuels and is fueled by resentment and indignity. It sees right and wrong as a binary. It is a viewpoint in which boils everything down to power dynamics. There are oppressors and the oppressed, colonizers and the colonized, good and evil. It is a totalitarian way of thinking—all human relationships are seen through power dynamics and cannot be examined through any other lens. In other words, the boxed-in way both groups see the world is the same. Their causes are just vessels to carry their revolutionary ideology.

Last night at midnight and after,,,,,loud bombs went off and l was thinking giants as large as GOdzilla beginning to kick the walls of houses intending to break them down and l wondered how many enjoying the night have ever been in a real war like my mother did in Vienna in WWll and so many children around the world over time immemorial.

And where is humanity? l found out this morning when l read the news.

Not in this article but am seeing in several others that both the New Orleans Ford Lightening and Las Vegas Tesla Cybertruck were rented from an app called Turo. Two electric trucks rented from the same app, loaded with explosives and used in terror attacks in two high profile US tourist cities on the same day. Cannot be a coincidence. Had the Vegas driver not chosen the stainless steel Cybertruck, consequences there would've been as horrific as New Orleans. Thank God the NOLA explosives failed to detonate.

Fireworks, gas tanks and camping fuel used in Tesla cybertruck explosion outside Las Vegas Trump Hotel

Authorities believe fireworks, gas tanks and camping fuel were connected to a detonation system controlled by the driver in the Tesla Cybertruck that exploded outside a Trump Hotel in Las Vegas Wednesday morning.
The incident is being investigated as a possible terrorist act, according to a law enforcement official who has been briefed on the investigation.
At a news conference, Las Vegas Sheriff Kevin McMahill said a vehicle fire was reported at the hotel just after 8:40 a.m. Crews arrived to find a 2024 Cybertruck engulfed in flames, he said.
“There is one deceased individual inside the Cybertruck and I don’t know whether it is a male or a female at this time,” McMahill said.
Seven other victims sustained what McMahill described as “minor” injuries as a result of the explosion.
Video shared on social media appears to show the car engulfed in smoke as it is being hosed down.
Jeremy Schwartz, acting special agent in charge of the FBI in Las Vegas, also confirmed that his team is involved in the investigation.
Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo wrote on X that his office is coordinating with authorities and will ensure they have any necessary resources available.
