A pair of lilac knickers once owned by Hitler's wife Eva Braun have sold at auction for nearly £3,000.
The briefs, part of a collection that went under the hammer at the Philip Serrell auction house in Malvern, were expected to fetch around £400, but sold for £2,900.
A gold ring, a silver mirrored box and a silver holder still containing Eva Braun's bright red lipstick were also sold.
They were sold to a private collector.

It pales in comparison to the £16,250 that a pair of Queen Victoria's knickers brought in September.

It's amazing what some people will pay for a pair of empty knickers!

The thought of their underwear worth money, I don't know what you'de do with them? Tell people? I hope they were purchased by a museum or something like that.

Sick. Just sick. I would have never, ever, paid a penny more than half that price for Eva's Undies.
