Australia has its swamp creatures too.

Called the Bunyip, it looks meaner and nastier than any of the USA's swamp things. A picture was on FB so I googled it.,interesting,and folklore at its finest.

I've never before seen an illustration of the mythical bunyip.

It's main purpose in Aboriginal folk lore seems to have been to caution the children and young women about the perils of wandering off to the water hole alone.

LOL, Falcon. I guess there is some folks out there with that attitude.When I googled this Warri, there were many different pictures of this. Kind of like our Mothman and Bigfoot.
