It's a big country so not happening everywhere but Oz is in flooding in parts with at the most some losing life and limb and others just their homes!! All services are gainfully employed in rescue missions - if you live in a city you are safe but not so in the countryside - some small "towns" ; "village" " hamlets" call em wot you will are flooded to the roof eves
; humans and pets being rescued by boat; helicopters whatever - it a risk of perhaps climate change? ; living in a big country: and humans tampering with the world in general?? - but aussie rescues do what they do best and keep on rescuing - some unfortunate strangers/tourists have been lost [drowned] in their cars - we couldn't make it in time - don't drive in flooded areas??
