Australian Government finally giving Telcos the power to block scamming messages

Telcos will now be able to use advanced technology due to Government regulatory changes to find the source of the messages and block them.
Australians have been receiving vast amounts of Scam SMS messages during the pandemic, including myself.
Sometimes 4 or 5 a day.
I registered for do not call but still received the messages

Hope they are succesful, during that damn black friday sale, my phone is full of messages from scammers.
