This is one of Australia's greatest mysteries ,it's 50 years ago tomorrow, and still no closer to solving the mystery of where the 3 Beaumont children' s remains are, naturally there has been all sorts of speculation about their disappearance or if they are still alive
They lived close to the beach in Adelaide suburb of Glenelg, were seen at the beach alone and in the company of a adult male ..It was not uncommon for children to go to the beach alone in the 1960's

I remember hearing it on the radio about the missing children I was 20 at the time .(I didn't see TV until my mid 20's)
 
I was only 11 when it happened but I remember it very clearly. It was as if the country just shut down waiting to hear news of them. Can't begin to imagine how their parents coped.

Yes Mitchezz it's hard to believe it's 50 years ago ,so sad for the children's parents
 
How sad and tragic! Can't imagine how the parents coped with losing 3 children.
