author Larry McMurtry who was best known for writing Pulitzer Prize Western novel "Lonesome Dove' died Thurs of heart failure he was 84. The book was made into a mini series in 1989 starring Robert DuVall,Tommy Lee JOnes
His other novels 'The Last Picture Show'66 Terms of Endearment' 75 were made into feature films
He and his writing partner,Dianne Odessa won Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar for movie' Brokeback Mountain'
I've read most of his books,Lonesome Dove is my favorite
