Autumn Colors

[Just plain me]

I was downtown on a side street and could not help but notice the beautiful colors of the trees! The one up on top of the hill where we live have already mostly fallen! It is strange that were not 5 miles but because town is in a valley their leaves are still vibrant!

Your welcome RadishRose! I love the trees this time of year but I do not like what follows. But then in the spring when they start to bud again I get excited waiting for leaves.

Yes...the colors are great this year... so much better than last year... but not as pretty as the year before.. I suppose I could google it, but I'm wondering why this varies year to year.. Same trees... different results.

Weather affects the color and the timeing! We had ours turn early this year but they are more beautiful than last. Google "How weather affects autumn colors" and you will probably find an answer. I know it does just can't remember the specifics.
