trying to get right temp and time in my air fryer,,,i keep getting the skin to done, but not the inside,,,ideas?

Are you making little holes in the potato with a fork? That's what I've seen chefs do.

Hollydolly: The USA is still on Fahrenheit; I think your 200 degree temp is Celcius (as most countries including Canada). 200 C would be approximately 400 F (I like to convert the easy way!!)

Perhaps everything is not meant to be cooked anywhere else but in your kitchen stove oven.
350 degrees for one hour.
I used to poke holes in them with a fork and rub Crisco or butter on them.
yes that's how we'd cook them in the oven....but in the Air fryer.. it's a little different.

personally I cook mine for about 7 or 8 mins in the microwave ( skins pierced ) and then finish it off in the oven to crisp the skin..

Same here except I use an under the cabinet electric toaster oven. Probably 12 minutes tops from start to table ready.

Btw, @jet
Does your toe hurt, from being outdoors (baking)
in the hot sun, barefoot and without any protection for it, for too long duration?:oops::eek::unsure:

I suggest you just wear socks more often!:sneaky:

Was this post helpful? :geek:

450 F for an hour in a regular oven. You just need more time and/or heat.
