Baker Riddle

Why was the bakery shop owner always behind on his work and struggling to fill his display cases with fresh baked goods?

He didn't have the dough.

He couldn't rise to the occasion.

He and his employees donut know what to do.

He wasn't on a roll.

He had trouble stirring in the mornings.

He kneaded more time to do his baking.

He acted like a crumb and all his employees quit.

He had no zest for life.

He couldn't whip up any enthusiasm for baking.

He didn't mince words.

His eyes were glazed.

He was too crusty to the customers.

He had no panache for ganache.

Curly of the 3 Stooges said he used to work in a bakery as a Pilot!

The girl said "Pilot'?

Curly said "Yeah I used to pile dough, I'd pile it here and pile it there"!

OhioBoy's guess is so close I'm going to give it him.
