Bank Branch Manager Disappeared

I always liked him and he was always pleasant and helpful. He even came to my house when I couldn't call in to the automated teller and tried to ascertain the problem. I hadn't seen him at the bank in a while and an email was returned as undeliverable. Last week I asked a teller where he was and she said, "He is no longer in the banking business.", but didn't add anything further. Makes me wonder....

Maybe I’m just old and cynical but that would have raised a red flag or two for me.

I would say that you were very lucky that he didn’t gather enough information to help himself.

He either pursued an other avenue or was let go. I do not blame anyone on branch manager level to move on. The pressure to produce with less and less is immense.
Conducting business at a customer's home is a no!

so he has either retired or moved to another line of work - I guess you can search his FB page if you know his name and he has one.
