Bank HBSC Loses Fight To Keep Money Laundering Report Secret

Bank HBSC lost a fight to keep a 250 page report on money laundering charges stemming from a 2012 case in which they were caught laundering money for a Mexican drug cartel.

UK Official Intervened For HBSC

It now appears a UK financial regulator intervened with US officials to help the bank HBSC avoid prosecution. A George Osborne insinuated the US was unfairly targeting UK banks. He apparently sent a letter to the US Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke.
