If you can see this short video, it’s worth watching. I watched it on the news but can’t and won’t open anything that requires me to remove my ad-blocker.

Here’s a link to the story.

It doesn’t say that she’s a senior, that’s JMO based upon the story. Even if this wasn’t the wisest action to take, I still love her.

I can really relate to how she must have been feeling, especially with the article reporting a surge of crime in the community! Our city is too, and I share the feeling of wishing I could personally HURT some of the crooks. Very gutsy! Go sister! I’ll have to remember that move of grabbing the hoodie!

A couple of years ago, I witnessed a similar incident that almost involved me; luckily it didn't.
I was putting groceries in my trunk after shopping. I heard a commotion in the parking lot.
There is a big guy holding on to the front wheel of a bicycle & a much-smaller security guard holding on to the rear wheel.
They're playing tug-of-war. The big guy is yelling, "Let go, MF; it's my bike." The security guard is yelling, "No it isn't; the owner is shopping in the store."
That went on for several seconds & the thief let go of the bike & headed straight for me. I'm thinking "Carjacking; he knows police will be called & he'll force me to drive him away."
I put my hand in my trunk & said, "Don't. I'll blow your head off." The bluff worked; he took off in the opposite direction.
