Black bear captured in Washington, D.C., neighborhood

There was one trapped in a tree during the farmers market last week at Lake Eola in downtown Orlando. Not exactly "bear territory".

A bear walked through my backyard, yesterday. He lives down the road. He doesn't bother anybody- maybe gets a trash can a few times a year. Our bears are used to humans, not like a bear that's never seen a human. They aren't pets, but they also aren't going to mall you the second they see you. They are BIG scary animals.
The D.C. bear was probably going to protest in front of the White House to get a "National Bear Month"- I think September is open.
