yes I think he dropped notes to many people on the forum... called all us women lass.. . He did live in a nursing home, and was 80 years old.. he'd had a heart attack in May, and he had one daughter who lived in a different town to where he was.Bill would send me messages at times when I seemed to most need them...about trying to keep a smile on your face no matter what..he had such a positive influence on me and so many I can see.I gathered he was probably much older than I and maybe living in a retirement community or some sort of home. He was so funny with his stories which you can find in the Good Morning, etc. thread in General Discussions. There weren't that many very recently but he used to post his little stories with Gertie the bird in them and him and his marmalade!

Yes, I did think he may have lived in a nursing home. My father was close to his age when he passed, too.
