Did not know that about the Grand Canyon .. would love to be there in person to view that phenomenon.

Used to love making treks up to the Flagstaff area this time of year to take in the snow, and have a snowball fight . .. then loaded up the back of the truck with snow to bring back home to Phoenix and make a snowman in the front yard with the kids, and watch the 80 degree sun melt it all away.

If this is google earth, it is way neat, I love it, it is like driving down the street or wherever the "blue line" is. I have tried any National Parks yet, and in many countries I see "googles cameras" haven't gotten in yet
