Been absent for awhile because I introduced my senior group to coming back to play dominoes and cards. That means calling each one. (!) Some don't answer, some listen then decide if to answer or not, some read a phone conversation while on the phone, etc. But, I am back and hope everyone is still safe and well. I and my husband are quarantining because one of his pals was found having the virus and thus we have to do the quarantine for 10-14 days. We have had the first of the 2 vaccine shots so that helps a little. Yes, we still practice the guidelines and more so in the home.

How are you holding up in the department of food and drink, Fanci?

Are you like me and keep a lot of prepared meals frozen, with a pantry stuffed with all of the goodies needed to make this and that?

Well, until recently, we still got out and went to the store and Walgreen's for our meds. But, since he came into contact with someone who was diagnosed with the virus, we have to quarantine for 10-14 days. The first 24 hours says a lot, even though we got our vaccines. We try to buy enough for a week and then go get some more. However, now we will call on his son to go get stuff for us and then get it at the door when he leaves it there. I am on Weight Watchers, eating right again after gaining it all back during the holidays. I walk in the house or outside when it is warm enough like today (63). So, we stay stocked up pretty well. And talk about wiping all the handles, door knobs, etc. ! Constant, expecially while quarantining and in the same house!!!
