I’ll start it off. I maintain a land-line phone, with a visual caller ID alert on my tv screen of incoming calls. So yesterday I got such an alert, recognized the number, and tried to answer the call…but my phone was dead! I checked my phone base, which read “no home line.” Feeling a slight stirring of panic, I went into trouble-shooting mode, and found that my phone line had been physically disconnected at a junction point, right where I’ve seen the cats batting at it numerous times, but never to the point of pulling out the line before. Yes, I have feline saboteurs! Cheeky devils! Perhaps this is just their opening gambit against me…
