Best condiment to put on a roast beef sandwich

A roast beef special sandwich consists of RB, cole slaw, and Russian dressing. Maybe even a cheese I no longer remember.

Yes, cole slaw (but no cheese!), and the dressing on my cole slaw is enough dressing for the sandwich.

If I don't have any cole slaw, I dress my RB-sand with just the meat drippings. If the meat is too lean and/or bland, I use mayo and a little bit of spiced mustard.

I would have to go with horse radish, but I've always thought horse radish was best on a corn beef sandwich. Now that's a match made in heaven.

LOL, my friend;s grandfather used to say that. He'd hold the bottle in your face and ask.

I like them done as a french dip with lots of sauteed onion, provolone or swiss. I use a nice roll, wrap in foil and in the oven until hot and crusty. Au jus, served on the side for dipping.

There is a condiment called Bolst's Brinjal Pickle, (Eggplant) made in India and available in most Indian shops. I usually put a teaspoonful on the roast beef, it is simply the best.
