Hi everyone.
Its some time since I called in but looking after hubby can be quite wearing.
I hope everyone is keeping well.

Does anyone have this very interesting magazine? http://www.bestofbritishmag.co.uk/
Its the Red Arrows on the front of the July magazine that I received today. I love to read about the things they put in it and much to my surprise I see that there is even a place where old prams are put to good use and how many folk are into this sort of hobby. Funnily enough I have NOT found anything concerning the pram I had for my son that was similar to the Silver Cross pram but it had all the same sized wheels on it.
I know some prams are becoming collectors items and the only thing I found for the Swallow pram that we had for our son was one was for sale on ebay but there is no picture of it. Starting price was £250. Ours was £29.8s.6d way back in 1950 that I had to pay weekly for and could not have it until it was all paid for. If I remember correctly I believe we had it from Currys because they sold many different items then.
I would love to find out more concerning the Swallow coachbuilt prams and where they were made.

I have already been through it Ina but still no mention of a Swallow coachbuilt pram.
Plenty of Silver Cross and other makes BUT NOT the one I had.

I have seen them Holly but it is still NOT the shape I had.
Mine was more like the first one that you put up but it wasn't quite so curved and it had all the same sized wheels.

It was over 63 years ago Holly and although my memory has been good Im afraid I cannot recall the model.
Just that it was a Swallow coachbuilt pram but NOT like those shown. I had it because it was different to the Silver Cross that SO many mums went for and it was quite expensive for that time, although it does not seem like it today.
