Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved?

I remember Woody Allen saying something like "I would not want to belong to any club that would have me as a member."
I feel a little like that about romance at this age. Any man who thinks I'm a catch is probably not that smart.
That quote belongs to Groucho Marx.

I don’t regret any of my relationships. I’ve been alone for 4 years and would never live with someone again. I’m done compromising , cleaning up after and taking care of others.

If I met someone great a relationship would be fun but living apart. However, I’m not putting any effort into it so a suitable partner must just magically appear.

I remember thinking a few years ago that any man who fancied me at my age would be so old that I couldn't possibly fancy them. How wrong I was! I'm just coming up to the second anniversary of being with the most lovely, kind, sexy man ... and I've just had my 77th birthday. We are both widowed and never thought we'd fall in love again but it can happen. When I look at him I see the person inside and don't notice any wrinkles or excess weight and it seems to be the same for him.

YEA!!! Hope springs eternal. Love is possible for all.
