A Canadian comic called Alex Jones and used an AI generated voice pretending to be Tucker Carlson. Alex really thought he was talking to Carlson. This was a prank and the comic informed Alex quickly right afterwards. It could have been really sinister.

There have been recent cases in US where that happened in much darker way.

Not good. I don't see the benefit of taking people's images and creating fake content with it.
If I understand correctly, every image we upload becomes property of the company who's server it resides on.
