There is also another issue with ordering medications from places outside of the US and that is their legality. Several of the medications that you can order are illegal to import. In fact I know of a couple that ordered 2 of theirs from Canada and they received a visit from the Drug Enforcement Agency. While they did have a proper prescription from the doctor in the US, the drugs themselves were illegal to import. It took them getting an attorney before things could be settled without them getting a huge fine and possible imprisonment.
Also since I live in Texas and we are next to Mexico I know of several people that go across into Mexico for medications. If you have a prescription then there isnt a legal issue as long as you do not bring more than a 90 day supply back over the border. The problem comes with quality. While most of the manufacturers for meds here in the US also make the meds for Mexico(alot of the companies are the same) you are taking your health into your own hands, espcially when it comes to generic medications. Their laws are not as strict as ours are and their inert ingredients can be basically anything they can find. If you plan on going into Mexico for meds then be sure and check the packaging to make sure that it is a manufacturer that also makes the same meds for the US otherwise stay away for them. They also are not as stringent about their sanitary methods in the other countries.
