My fear is going before my grandchildren are old enough to understand.
I do fear being immobilized. My mother had a stroke at 72, she was left with her mind, the ability to speak,(if the listener cared enough to make an effort to understand) and the use of her left hand. She died at 78,six years of being a prisoner of her broken body. I prayed for her death.
