Billionaires Are Hoarding Piles of Cash

Is this a surprise?? Of course they are... because we have allowed them to keep most their money by reduced taxes. So much for that tired old disproven "Trickle down" theory.. This is simple greed. They aren't going to share and nothing is going to make them... save increasing taxes and eliminating their favorite loopholes. I think it's a mental illness just like other forms of hoarding. How much is enough? What is going to happen when ALL the money is in the hands of a few and no one else has anything. Dickens England... here we come.
 
Sadly I have no piles of cash to hoard,.....it comes in and goes right out again! we are not quite 'Dickens' England ' yet , but the amount of legal and il-legal economic migrants, dysfunctional families, drug addicts, drunks, and assorted work-shy misfits are slowly but surely heading that way.
 
I think the point was that they are hesitant to invest their money, and would rather keep their cold hard cash for now. It is amazing though to think of someone having that much cash in their homes, at the ready.

Billionaires are holding mountains of cash, offering the latest sign that the ultra-wealthy are nervous about putting more money into today's markets. According to the new Billionaire Census from Wealth-X and UBS, the world's billionaires are holding an average of $600 million in cash each—greater than the gross domestic product of Dominica. That marks a jump of $60 million from a year ago and translates into billionaires' holding an average of 19 percent of their net worth in cash.
"This increased liquidity signals that many billionaires are keeping their money on the sidelines and waiting for the optimal moment to make further investments," the study said.

I don't expect anyone to share their money with others, why would they? As long as they pay their fair share of taxes, like the rest of us working stiffs (or past working stiffs), I don't have a problem with it. What I don't like is people who enjoy living in the United States of America, and dodge taxes by using overseas accounts, etc.

Even the little kids in my Sunday School class know that there is an obligation to share.
The very least the uber-rich should do is use their surplus wealth for the betterment of society, especially for its poorest members.

And pay their fair share of taxation

Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do. Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honour to those who are in authority.
