Birds of a feather - a place for bird photography

This a tiny grey wagtail. They are really hard to capture, and they fly really fast like hummingbirds and don't stay still for more than a few seconds ... but I managed to capture this one after a little patience above the river and just under the bridge

just for clarity this bird was flitting under the old bridge over the waterfall...in the pub garden

@hollydolly thankyou !

There are quite a few of them here because husband put up two houses for them many years ago. The houses are both on transformer poles. I was afraid the Bluebirds would go away when the transformer poles got taken down and replaced three years ago. The contractors kindly put the houses back up and thankfully the Bluebirds came back.

Thank you🤠🤠

@squatting dog oh my goodness! I was once chased by a goose — this fella looks just as painful🫣.

LOL that reminds me of the goose we had way back in Vermont. He's chase cars and if you weren't careful, he'd take a shot at you and raise a welt. At least these birds didn't seem dangerous... but... I still didn't turn my back to them. ;) They carried on for well over a minute. so, I took a video of them and grabbed a screenshot. :cool:

In the park in Spain all the peacocks, chickens, roosters, hens.. rabbits.. all run free , and are almost tame....they're not caged in or chained up, they just don't try and leave ...

HD, We've got some at the Weeki Wachee mermaid park that run free. They will walk right up to you. Saw this mom with her little one in tow. So cute.
