What amazes me is how gentle and tender they are with one another around the sensitive areas such as the eyes. They seem to instinctively know to be careful and gentle.

The Magnificent Lyrebird can mimic many sounds and they are native to Australia
They are now a threatened species with much of their habitat lost in recent bushfires

Golden Pheasant by William Bullimore: "Chinese Pheasant", (Chrysolophus pictus) is native to forests in mountainous areas of western China. While they can fly, they prefer to run: but if startled they can suddenly burst upwards at great speed, with a distinctive wing sound.

Blackcap and Mountain Chickadees are by far my favourite little birds.
They're so sweet, so passive, and they're such friendly little birdies, so easy to warm-up to.
