We currently have a mostly black tuxedo, but I have read that all black cats are often the last to be adopted. Their color may unconsciously be associated with bad luck or a mean disposition. So when adopting give that black kitty a little extra consideration.

Our black cats have had the sweetest dispositions ever. Every day is Black Cat Appreciation Day for me.

Black cats have a special place in my heart. The first cat my husband & I got after we were married was a black cat. He hadn't ever had a cat before so I let him name him, Paladin. Our stable was named Black Cat Farm after him. Since then, we have always managed to have at least one black cat arrive to live with us.
