I don’t believe in any superstitions. On the other hand, my grandparents were overly superstitious. Gramps and I were painting the outside of the hose. Grandma wanted it to be painted a light yellow. We started painting it on a Monday and finished it on Friday. Grandma said she loved it.
The bad luck part was when Gramps missed the bottom step of the ladder and fractured his hip. Although it wasn’t replaced, he was in pain for several weeks. He actually laughed about it.
