i'm a fan of down. have tried (and returned ) the "down alternative" that seems so popular today. i have had a down "blanket" for YEARS. it was originally long channels in one direction, but became obvious the down wanted out... lumping up on the ends. took quite a lot of time & wrestling to even out the down and then sew across those channels. it's looking really sad. has several blocks with little/no down left inside. i started looking for a replcement... sticker shock! then i see AnnieA mention IKEA! Bingo! $50!
