Blood test captures 90% of early Alzheimer's.

I use an analogy of seatbelts in a car. There are statistics that predict how many auto accidents will result in fatalities. I think I would be wise to wait till I see an accident coming to put on the seatbelt. I want to know I am doing what I can to avoid that fate.

Part of the healthcare program I pursue is to contribute all my medical data to researchers, and to participate in studies that are leading the charge against health issues. If in some way that allows that one breakthrough that saves a life it's worth it. I don't want to know the day and time of my demise I want to know about risk factors that I might be able move aside and extend that date. If God wants me today then so be it.

I know people where their memory issues didn't kick in until their final months already burden with other health problems. They didn't follow pattern/age in which their parents had issues. If they had been healtier over all it might have made difference. Which is why I'm not rushing to get that and other tests.

We each have decisions to make about our health. If I can identify something wrong with my car I try to fix it or have it fixed, I don't wait till it stalls on the interstate three hundred miles from home. Be well.
