This guy was the real deal. He was an actual reporter/correspondent.

He had style and class. You knew what you were getting when you watched a report of his. His reports/reporting had a distinctiveness. He had a certain pace which was easy to follow.

I never watch CBS so I never heard of him. He was 73 though, should have retired years ago.

I think that's a limo.... Their license plates always have "liv" on them.

Absolutely agree!

There are very few, if any?, of the "old school" reporters/correspondents.

I'm guessing the cab driver and the cab company will, in the end, be held responsible.
Tho' if the Mercedes slammed on brakes directly ahead of the cab...I've been in that situation and it's terrifying!

Frustrating and sad news . The driver had license suspensions, medical conditions and was homeless which might have been a reason his employer or Simon tolerated him.
