Body Art - Henna

I know a young woman who is a henna artist.
Some of her designs are exquisite.

Has anyone on this forum ever had henna applied to the skin?

Aren't those designs gorgeous. I'm sure many women get the designs as permanent tats too:love_heart: I've never watched the process but from what I've read the design is painted and then covered with plastic and allowed to set for several hours.

My wife and I had a chance to observe it first hand earlier this year when our grandson married a wonderful Indian girl. The whole ceremony was very colorful, by our standards, and the bride, the mothers of the couple had the henna designs painted. Quite intricate and something that we'd never seen before. I forget how long before the markings vanish but I think it's not an overly long time.

Yes I had it done several times for weddings I was invited to when I was in the middle east. Haven't had it done since. There is a very good artist in Dallas.
