They sell the Heinz English style beans and I can’t tell the difference between them and regular Heinz beans. You’re in Canada, so it’s not like we’re comparing the American beans like Buschs. In the British aisle, they’re quite a bit more expensive.

I always buy a can of beans (no pork) & add stuff - ketchup, salsa, onions, dry mustard, etc, to nip them up a notch. Sometimes hotdogs added for me.

Absolutely not served with eggs. I can’t stand the sight of them unless devilled or maybe pale & scrambled.
 
In Britain, right up until 1954, we had wartime rationing. Meat was scarce, one of my mother's regular meals to fill and sustain us was rabbit stew and dumplings. I had no problem demolishing it. Later, as we were no longer rationed, rabbit became forgotten. I've not had stew and dumplings since I was a child.

My grandfather always seemed to have rabbit stew on the stove everytime we visited when I was little in the mid 60's (i never ate any )... but dumplings?..I've never stopped having those, about once a year I make minced beef /cottage pie or similar, and I make dough boys..in fact I made them just the other night ...

Oh yes, there is a difference. The British one has better taste (IMHO) and yes, it is more expensive but worth it for me. I have never tried the American beans like Bush?

I can't bring myself to eat a bunny. I have heard that it tastes like chicken.
