Curious who has Boost Mobile for phone service (not Metro mobile) and where you live?
Also, the new Motorola Moto got great reviews...buy it? (Reviewers always write about the camera, videos and
audio, never about the main purpose--talk and text.) I dont care about the extras, on a phone! Thats what
computers are for.

Are you talking about the Moto G series phones, or Moto Edge series, or... ?

Boost mobile? Isn't that a company aiming at inner cities? There are probably better deals since you don't seem to be after a burner phone.

Those aren't "extras" but if you want a basic phone there are still dumb phones available.

Central New York

I’m a fan of Consumer Cellular coupled with my home Wi-Fi.

Pretty much unlimited talk and data for just under $28.00/month.

It would be considerably more if I wasn’t able to use Wi-Fi for almost all of my data needs.

I was originally attracted to them because you can increase or decrease plan usage at any time during the month.

Boost mobile customer service is the worst, but I haven't had problems with the phone service. I have a $25 plan with unlimited talk and text.

I like my Moto G Play phone so much that I bought a second one. Boost mobile phones are more expensive on average. I get them at Walmart. They have better prices. But other phone carriers have even better prices on phones. I'm always thinking about switching but haven't done it yet.

Maybe not related, but since you mentioned it, many of the apps on my phone couldn't be accessed on my computer. And some of the apps can do things that my computer can't do. I used to think that I could do everything on a computer that I could on a phone or tablet. As time goes on, that's less true, for my interests anyway.

I thought tracfone had the worst service. Call centers are awful headaches.!! I can get a good deal local on moto5g phone and service for $40 to 25 a month and 110 for phone at a mobile boost store. My old phone is from 2020. Small and light but inadequate.
Talk to me

Wow, $110 for a phone that has 128G memory for a phone you're going to use like a flip phone? That seems like overkill.

I paid $35 for my last Moto G Play from Walmart. The first one was $50. They're both 32G memory but you're not going to use the memory anyway. The 64G memory Moto G Play that is linked to Boost Mobile is $50 at Walmart currently.
