Yep.... I finally did it. I got 6 botox injections. Two above each eyebrow and 4 at the top of my nose and forehead. I was tired of looking in the mirror and looking like I was worried or angry, with the deep furrows between my eyes and the top of my nose (glabella). I am THRILLED!! the furrows are gone and the top of my nose remains smooth and lineless... I think it has really improved how I look and definitely how I feel when I look in the mirror..

It was relatively painless.. Just "pinches"... from the needle. My face does not look paralyzed.. my skin is not numb... I don't feel like anything was done.. but the results are wonderful. It took about 2 minutes for the doc to do.. and it's relatively inexpensive when compared to other procedures. My doctor charges $13.95 per unit and I had a total of 25 units... do the math. Worth it to me.
 

Wonderful! How often do the injections need to be redone? I'm fine with all my wrinkles except the upper lip smokers ones.
 
Botox only lasts about 4 months.. however, the more times you have it the longer it lasts as the muscles become trained to relax. I have that 50th reunion coming up in September so I'll get a refill a few weeks before that..

I have those lip ones too... I call them kitty whiskers.. A filler would take those away.. by the way... having a filler done July 28th.. much more expensive than botox, but lasts a whole lot longer.. two years or more.

I certainly don't want to look 20, but anything I can do short of surgery is OK by me. I don't really want to look younger, just better.
 

OK, little pleasures are good us. I invested in a home theatre system for about the same amount and am glad I did...
