Bournemouth swimmers - what happened?

It's an awful sad case, the young people who were drowned. Always terrible for youngsters to lose their lives in such ways

However, the news tells us so very little. Like what were they doing out at sea and what happened? Was it a properly planned trip with experienced adults supervising? We are just left to guess.

Unfortunately in summer, kids take it into their heads to go swimming in all sorts of places with often tragic results.

Any rip tides? Going to have to wait on the investigation, but if they went into deep water with no vest or knowledge if how to swim, the mistake may have cost them.

The Marines out in Northern San Diego used to do a 3 day swim course for kids through 15 that didn’t know how to swim. I don’t know if they still offer that or not.
