I think Foreman said losing to Ali in round 8 humbled him and made him a better person.

Foreman had a better personality than Ali. Ali came across as being somewhat angry at times. On TV shows as a guest appearance with Howard Cosell, he seemed to really like Cosell.

When I was patrolling in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, I stopped in at the gym in Easton to watch Larry Holmes train. He was sparring another pretty good fighter, who was in the amateur class. It was a pleasure to watch Holmes and how quick he was. He was an all around puncher and a quick jabber. There were about 40 others watching. They could have sold tickets.

I guess I quit following heavy weight boxing after the 70's.
I quit pro basketball in the 90's. Baseball around 2023.
Getting real tired of the NFL. Was amazed by the UFL's long place kickers and game.
Fed up with NASCAR and Indy racing. Care less about Ice Hockey. Sports basically sux now.

Will follow the UFL in a bit though. It was fun to watch.
