Breakfast Cereals, Heiss und Kalt

Grits (otherwise known as "Georgia ice cream") go with everything. As the late Lewis Grizzard often said, "If you don't like grits, how come you ordered breakfast?"

I like the Dixie Lilly yellow grits. I put one cup of grits to 4 cups of water with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and stir them up and then turn the heat to medium. Then I stir them now and then until they are done. I find that putting them into the cold water and slowly heating them up keeps them from lumping up. Then, when they are just about done I stir in a can of tuna in olive oil. Undrained. I never drain the oil from tuna.
