Breakfast in America Now

Breakfast is one of my 3 favorite meals of the day. 😋
As for prices, I will pay it if the food and service are worth it. I may grumble a bit if it's a tad pricey, but I would rather pay $17 for a breakfast and love it than I would to pay $12 and be disappointed.

We have a 10 percent sales/restaurant tax and I usually tip 20 percent. So a $17 breakfast actually costs close to $23. I'd rather stay home and make banana pancakes.

I make my own pancake and waffle dough. Once I week I make a batch, eat a few, and freeze the rest for later in the week. I also make my own omelette from time to time. I buy some commercial cereal but I make sure I get the ones with no more than one teaspoon of added sugar per serving. I only eat one serving as per the box.

I'm doing a Keto diet for now so I'm cooking at home
and enjoying every minute of it. Strawberries aren't
allowed actually...too much sugar...but grapes are ok.
