Breathing Problem? Another Imp-onderable!

With few exceptions, I greatly enjoy, and am interested in, things mechanical and electrical. One exception is below. I find these things to not only be ridiculous, but also counter-productive, from concept to actual use. We see landscaping crews of guys with big ones, gasoline powered, blowing dust, dirt, gravel, from one place to another, while putting a lot of lightweight stuff up into the air. Thus, they not only waste resources, gasoline, but pollute the air with fuel fumes, as well as dust and dirt! What homeowner would possibly want to have one of these? Thoughts? imp

I'm with you, Imp. Borrowed one once to try it out. Not worth it.

Right on, Nan! Besides, a good 'ol broom yields exercise, and less stuff raised into the air!

Hey, just thought of something: do you milk the goats? Use it in cooking, if you do? Should've PM'd that, I guess. Maybe you don't want to answer that. A PM would work. imp

hee Hee, I've got one, but it also sucks em up into a big bag, breaking them down into a sort of mulch. I can even use it on wet leaves.

Ah, but now you're talking about a leaf sucker, not a leaf blower ... ;)

Or with the (im)proper use of commas, you can turn that into an insult: "... but now you're talking about a leaf, sucker...

Back when I had a yard, I used my blower on the "suck" setup and it did, indeed, turn what would have been 4 bags of leaves into 1 bag of good mulch. I never used it as a blower.

Take "(im)proper one step farther: (imp)roper! imp
