Bretrick had a terrible accident last week

I have a small food scraps container, and I for some reason put it on top of the cupboard.
This morning at 4 am as I first entered the kitchen to make brekkie before work, clad only in underwear, I opened the cupboard door and the food scraps container fell from on high, hit the bench and scattered the contents all over Bretrick, the floor, the cupboards, the oven.
It had been a while since it was emptied and some of the contents had liquified.
Bretrick was covered in stinky rotten food, not a pleasant start to the day. I mopped up the worst of it with a bath towel which I threw straight in the outdoor bin.
I had no time to mop the floor as I needed to get to work.
When I get home, the place is going to smell really bad.
Mop and bucket, disinfectant on the cupboards

Maybe your third person could have cleaned it up whilst you were at work?

Wow, that's bad but I thought it was going to be something like a bad car accident.

Betrick went to the cupboard but the cupboard was booby trapped
And soon poor Betrick was covered in crap. On his his clothes, hands and lap.
He must have been an odor at work and alone much of the time
And when he got home had to clean up the slime.

This was one of those OH SHTTT moments we all have had. I cant imagine
how nasty it was. I continually get cuts I don't even feel (my skin is like paper
from working in the sun 40 yrs.) And I usually discover them from blood trails or
waking up to sheets that NOW need peroxide and a wash. I once looked down on
a child's desk I was helping (I was teaching them) and saw blood dripping on her desk
from an outside accident.
